Tea Room

The tea room is situated at the entrance to the gardens in a converted cottage with spectacular views of Simon’s Seat and the pathway to Troller’s Gill.  It is an ideal place to relax, see the wildlife and appreciate the tranquillity of this part of Wharfedale.

We offer a warm welcome, specialise in high quality home produced foods and always have a good range of soups, hot and cold snacks and a selection of our very popular home made scones and cakes to choose from.

Artwork by local artists is often displayed on the inner tea room walls, some of which are available to purchase as a lasting reminder of your visit to the Yorkshire Dales.

The tea room is open daily from 30th March to the end of September between 10.30 to 16.30.  Because of the seating limitations of the indoor area and its popularity, especially at weekends and Bank Holidays, you are advised to book in advance if you intend to bring a group (minimum 10 people) either to visit the gardens or, if you are walking in the area.

If you would like to arrange a private visit during outside of normal opening hours, please don’t hesitate to contact us for menu suggestions on 01756 720630 during tea room opening hours.
